Deep Learning Fundamentals — Part One
As someone in their mid-30s, I can understand that learning topics such as deep learning is going to be difficult. There is too much complicated information; it’s like trying to hold onto sand with your hands — most of it escapes your grasp.
I started learning Deep Learning myself recently, most videos on the topic are usually either too mathematical or have too much code which for someone who just started, is going to be overwhelming. I aim to share what I learned so far as simple as possible so that you know just enough to make sense out of all those technical details, at the very least, I hope to get you comfortable with using the wide range of Deep Learning frameworks and software out there.
I suggest to complete this free Machine Learning with Python (ML0101EN) course before diving into deep learning, as this will help you understand why some models are better than other, especially when terms such the gradient and vanishing gradient are discussed.
This will be a multi part stories which we going to talk about Deep learning and see what it means and how it came around and learn about different deep networks and deep learning platforms that are…
