How to View Analytics on Old LinkedIn Posts (Step-by-Step)

In Linkedin, there’s a View analytics link under your posts which you can see your post impressions and engagement analytics, however it’s only available for the posts published in early 2023 and older posts don’t have this option.

Older posts don’t have the View analytics option

But there’s a way to still check those analytics even for your oldest posts. Here is what you need to do:

  • Copy the link to the post that does not have the View Analytics link

The link should be something like this:

https://www.linkedin.com/posts/emad-dehnavi-75454312b_a2-german-language-certificate-activity-6727335476967088128-iDwL?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

  • In the copied link, there’s a numeric ID which is actually your Linkedinpost-id, in above example 6727335476967088128 , copy this ID
  • Lastly, replace the POST_ID in below URL which is the Linkedin URL for View Analytics feature with the numeric ID you copied in last step:
https://www.linkedin.com/analytics/post-summary/urn:li:activity:POST_ID
