Hey everyone, I just came across something really cool I wanted to share. It’s called Jan — an AI assistant that works entirely offline.

If you’ve used tools like ChatGPT, you know they’re powerful, but they all rely on the cloud. That means your data gets sent somewhere else to be processed, and let’s be honest — that’s not great for privacy.

Jan is different. It’s open-source, runs 100% on your computer, and doesn’t need the internet at all. You can use it without worrying about your data being shared or stored somewhere you can’t see.
