Peek Focus, Because Your Browser Deserves Better

2 min readMar 7, 2025

Alright, I don’t know about you, but my browser is always a complete mess. It starts so innocently — reading one article, clicking a link, maybe visiting your favourite website at nights where you checking out some headphones! Fast forward 10 minutes and your browser looks like it’s trying to launch a space mission, with more open tabs than actual thoughts in your head. Welcome to the Tabpocalypse.

That’s why I was so happy when I found Peek Focus.

What is Peek Focus?

Peek Focus is a Browser Extension that helps you avoid turning your browser into a chaotic jungle of tabs, where even Google Maps couldn’t find your way back

if you have Peek Focus chrome extension installed, you can simply Drag & Drop any link, and Peek Focus open that link in the same tab, in a very comfortable way.

You can enable/define more triggers if you like having other shortcuts to use Deep Focus other than Drag & Drop

Let’s go with an example. Here is a link for one of my stories: Deep Learning Fundamentals

Instead of clicking or opening it in a new tab, if you just drag and drop it, this will be the result, and you can do everything you will do in a new tab, in this window too:

Peek Focus

With the free version you going to have 20 daily pop-up, which should be enough but if you try it out and you think it’s useful and can improve your focus and productivity, you can try their unlimited version.
