I was iTerm2 fan and user since 2018 and I never thought about moving on from it until I tried Wrap. Warp is a terminal built with Rust, reimagined with AI and collaborative tools for better productivity.

Warp

Here are some of the things I love about Wrap:

  • Input position flexibility, by default is stay as it is at bottom of the terminal when you trigger a command and I Loved it, you can pin your command line to the top or bottom of your terminal window.
  • You can use the Warp AI if you ever forgot the commands or even ask questions about your code you writing
  • Using their Warp Drive feature, you can save parameterized commands as reusable workflows, you can use CTRL+R to call any workflow on demand
  • Modern look UI which can attract people who don’t like terminals, And if you like to make your terminal pretty, Wrap have some damn beautiful theme
  • If Privacy is important for you, Wrap never collects your input or output data, any data sent to AI is sent through a proxy, never stored on Warp’s servers, you can read more about Privacy in Wrap here.

Pro tip: if you wanna ask some…
